Spy x Family's upcoming musical has cast four young actresses for the role of Anya, who have each gotten adorable new visuals replicating this manga cover!
The visuals were unveiled at a mini press conference held on January 10 for the four Anyas: Aoi Ikemura, Miharu Izawa, and Miharu Fukuchi, and Risa Masuda.
Their on-stage "fathers" (Win Morisaki and Hiroki Suzuki) also made an appearance to express their well wishes for the upcoming performances.
The show will also feature Fuka Yuzuki and Mirei Sasaki as Yor Forger, Kurumu Okamiya and Tsubasa Takizawa as Yuri Briar, Nonoka Yamaguchi as Fiona Frost, Kento Kinouchi as Franky Franklin, Soma Suzuki as Henry Henderson, and Manato Asaka as Sylvia Sherwood.
Adapted from Tatsuya Endo's manga series, Spy x Family revolves around a spy codenamed Twilight, who is ordered to create a fake family to facilitate his latest mission. Unbeknownst to him, however, the woman he chooses as his “wife” is actually an assassin, the little girl he “adopts” is a telepath, and even the family dog has the ability to predict the future.
The TV anime series premiered in Japan on April 9, 2022, with Season 1 ending on December 24. The franchise will be back in 2023 with Season 2 and an anime film.
Spy x Family's upcoming musical will premiere at Tokyo's Imperial Theatre, where it will run from March 8 to 29. It will then move on to Hyogo's Hyogo Performing Arts Center from April 11 to 16 and Fukuoka's Hakataza Theater from May 3 to 21.
