The trailer introduces the main characters, including the game's hero Alphen (CV: Satou Takuya), and its heroine Shionne (CV: Shimoji Shino). The official site has also been updated with additional character information.

Tales of Arise brings together two young people from different worlds. 300 years ago, Dahna was a planet overflowing with natural beauty. However, it was suddenly was invaded and forced to submit to Rena, a highly developed neighboring planet. One day, a boy from Dahna wearing an iron mask and a girl from Rena running away from her family meet, sparking a change in the fate of their worlds.

Tales of Arise, is slated for for release in 2020 on PS4, Xbox One, and Steam.
