The manga Me and the Alien MuuMuu will be adapted into a TV anime in 2025!
A "leaked image" was published on the web version of Monthly Mu magazine and then the key visual was unveiled. The protagonist Sakurako will be voiced by newcomer Momo Harumi and the alien MuuMuu will be voiced by Etsuko Kozakura.
Me and the Alien MuuMuu by Hiroki Miyashita serialized in Shōnen Gahōsha’s Young King OURs is an alien and household appliance-themed “Super Spectacle/Various Household Appliances/Cat Comedy”.
The cat-like alien MuuMuu came from a distant planet to Earth to study the technology of home appliances in order to regain the technology that his species lost. The protagonist Sakurako’s uneventful university life turns upside down with the appearance of MuuMuu. So begins their strange coexistence as they become involved in one commotion after the other.
The TV anime first published a "leaked image" on the web version of Monthly Mu magazine. The mysterious image that was sent to Mu looked like a poorly edited graphic...but then at the same time as that announcement, the key visual with Sakurako and MuuMuu was unveiled.
Me and the Alien MuuMuu will air in 2025. More cast and staff information is scheduled to be revealed so please look forward to it!
