Additionally, details about the “Kohei Horikoshi My Hero Academia Original Art Exhibition” to be held in 2025 have been announced along with a newly illustrated key visual.

My Hero Academia is a hero action manga by Kohei Horikoshi that began serialization in Weekly Shōnen Jump’s 2014 issue 32 (released July 7th 2014) and ended its serialization after a 10 year run in the 2024 combined special issue 36/37 (released August 5th 2024). The series surpassed over 100 million copies in circulation globally in April of 2024.

The popular series has garnered several adaptations beginning with the TV anime and continuing with movies, games, stage plays and more with the anime’s final season set to air in 2025. A fan book and the first art book are scheduled to be released in 2025 as well as the new original art exhibition.

The final volume will include the climax of Deku (Izuku Midoriya) and the other heroes’ fight and the final chapter which made waves both domestically and internationally for its touching finale when it was released. It will also include 38 pages of new manga that shows what happens after that. The cover art was revealed in anticipation of the December 4th release day. The composition is based off the first volume and you can feel the growth that Deku and the other members of U.A. High School Class 1-A have had.

Furthermore, the dates and venue of the buzzworthy “Kohei Horikoshi My Hero Academia Original Art Exhibition”, which was announced when the series ended, have been decided. It will be held at the Creative Museum Tokyo in Kyobashi from June 21st, 2025 to August 31st, 2025. Together with the announcement, Horikoshi unveiled the new key visual of Izuku Midoriya and Tomura Shigaraki for the exhibit.
