Get it? "Final Fantasy XVI Figures the Square Enix Booth"... because Eikons are controlled by Dominants! Sorry, you probably got that.
The annual pop culture extravaganza known as San Diego Comic-Con International ran from July 19 to July 23 this year. While much of Hollywood was not in attendance due to a writer's and actor's strike, there was still a million things for people to see and do at SDCC 2023! For example, Square Enix produced an impressive display of collectibles right in the middle of the exhibit floor! We combed through their selection showcased behind glass and were left in complete awe at the newly revealed figures.
Hot off the globally successful release of the long-awaited Final Fantasy XVI game last June, the company gave a new look at upcoming merchandise celebrating the title.
First, we focus on new additions to the Bring Arts line. Starting with the protagonists, Clive, Jill, Cid and Torgal. We round it out with a glimpse at the terrifying Ifrit!
Following the heroes glass case is a case of our antagonists - Dion, Benedicta, Kupka and Barnabas!
Those are some tough characters to beat. Good thing we have the Eikon, Shiva, to save the day!
Other Eikons are also immortalized, in metallic mini bust form!
But towering over all the Eikons is the beast bae, our beloved Moogle!
While we're still appreciating the cuter side of Final Fantasy XVI, take a gander at Torgal as plushies in his adult and puppy forms!
And our last spotlight on FF 16 goods is a preview of acrylic stand figures of Clive, Joshua and Jill in their younger days!
Final Fantasy XVI sold over 3 million copies on the PlayStation 5, the title's exclusive platform, during its launch week. We bet plenty of fans will enjoy collecting these items!
Square Enix's marvelous booth display also included collectibles from other fan favorite series - Nier:Automata, Final Fantasy X, and Final Fantasy VII!
That's a wrap at our look into Square Enix's booth at Comic-Con 2023! See anything you're dying to get your hands on?
FYI, many of these items are available for pre-order on the TOM Shop! So what are you waiting for!?
