Legendary visual novel Clannad is getting its first ever Western physical release!

A regular edition and collector's edition will be up for preorder through Limited Run Games for six weeks from Apr. 14, which is also the date that the game begins in the original story.

The latter will give fans the chance to experience the original Japanese collector’s edition, fully recreated in English by Sekai Project.

Developed by Key, Clannad was released for PC in Apr. 2004 with an English language edition released via Steam in 2015. Key reached its 20th anniversary in 2019, celebrating with new events, collaborations, and merchandise (available outside Japan exclusively at the TOM Shop).

In Clannad, the player takes on the role of high school student Okazaki Tomoya, a delinquent who has a strained relationship with his father. After meeting another student who hopes to restart the school’s drama club, he finds himself becoming involved in the lives of the other girls who join.
